Save Old Cleburne hosted the 42nd annual Candlewalk Tour of Historic Homes in December. The tour featured six homes and businesses.
The Gone with the Wind Gathering and Guest House, 907 S. Robinson St. was one of the homes on the tour.
M.P. Allard purchased a lot from B.E. and Lula Stokes in 1896 and built the Folk Victorian Cottage. For the last 50 years it was the home of the B.D. and Edna Cryer family until it was purchased by Mike and Vicky Rogers.
Directly across the street from the Gone with the Wind Remembered Museum which houses the Rogers’ extensive collection memorabilia relating to the book and movie begun by Vicky Rogers as a high school student in Joshua. The house now serves as an event center in conjunction with the museum.
